When do games stop being fun


Games are no longer fun when
  1. When i've figured out the solution of how to beat the game
  2. When i can see how to build it myself
  3. The game punishes you for anything other than your own failure

What is necessary to keep a game fun?
  1. Seeing something i haven't seen before
  2. Not knowing what's next
  3. Not knowing the "Best" solution
  4. Opportunities to keep improving
  5. No limits on time or effort
